Why do so many people feel compelled to post about how they're going to be getting a life on pvp weekends?

Lets see as of now, 161 guilds are in champ range, 80 of those guilds actually still play, and around 25-30 of those guilds were bought for champ point farming, meaning 200-240 people +/- guests/frends/etc plan on (insert win gimmick here) their champ titles this weekend.

/yawn
/bore
/care at this point

I'm just waiting for Anet's weekend event that gives us every title without doing anything, well we'll have to talk to some guy but thats just a minor technicality.

It's okay lemming, they're just bluffing.

I hate how PvErs always whine and complain when there are PvP weekends. Come on guys, what was last weekend huh? Exactly.

You guys are right. It's not fair for the PvErs. Looking back at the past months, half of the events have been PvP every month and the other half have been PvE. That is definitely not fair, considering 99% of Guild Wars players PvE as compared to the 1% who PvP.

P.S. If you didn't catch my sarcasm there then shame on you.

Thats so true, hopefully I can make another 600k off of selling z-keys this weekend, but to be honest I'm getting my hopes up thinking that my guildies and I will actually hit the enter rated gvg button, that thing hasn't been hit in months, almost like gaile zing.

Totally burned.

Anyways... eh, weekends don't excite me. I generally play this game because I'm waiting on 40K Online or BioWare's MMO (actually I might probably subscribe to both if they turn out well). Hell, I might switch to Conan sometime while I'm waiting.

Why is this the end of the world?

Oh, that's right, guru posters just like to complain about EVERYTHING.

Good luck Regina. :-)

Well, if we didn't complain. Then Anet wouldn't have a reason for a Community Relations job. If there were no Community Relations job, then that would mean no Regina!

Its really sad to see people QQ about their title "being devaluated". Give me a break, its a game people

Stop being elitist pricks and let maybe... 4... people get r1 champ if they feel like it (and others let them).

As for me, perhaps its time for me to finish up some Skill hunter titles as well as accumulate some glad points

Gold trim and Champion used to mean something. And now...I really don't know about that. I've always been a believer in the uselessness of PvP titles. If you're a good GvGer, people know your name. If you're an experienced HAer, you'll have your /rank or like GvG, people will know you. I'm terribly unfamiliar with the TA scene, but I assume that recognition would be similar to that of GvG.

GvGers don't care about their titles. Unless they're leet shit PvE titles. I'm looking at you Divine.

It goes both ways and it doesn't matter what variety of weekend it is. There are lots of people around here who will QQ about any type of weekend that doesn't suit their own selfish wants.

PvP titles are just like September 11th.
Nothing special (outside of being a personal achievement in case of titles or personal loss in the case of tragedies) - BUT they are both marketed so insanely well that we think they are.

This is almost as hilarious as the time they did champ points and less than 10 guilds in existence could actually earn them.

But speaking of devaluing titles, I didn't know they had any value to begin with except to the scrubs (they are all based off of farming nowadays).

I wasn't aware anyone cared about titles except the people frantically scrambling to get them in order to prove to someone that they matter.
